Amazing place. Feels like a home. Wonderful high ceilings, lovely rooms with balconies. Gorgeous sheets and towels of the highest cotton quality. Beautiful garden and garden furniture. The host was very responsive and friendly and dealt very quickly with a gate issue we had on Sunday early morning. Pals is a wonderful medieval village. It also has a world class restaurant called Vicus. Would return with great pleasure.

Maravillosa estancia!

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa. La casa es simplemente maravillosa y en una ubicación fantástica! La tienda de pan está enfrente de la entrada.

Realmente disfrutamos explorar la hermosa zona. El anfitrión fue muy servicial con las preguntas que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia y la casa estaba hermosamente limpia, con excelentes instalaciones. Gracias.

A wonderful home, situated in a lovely part of Pals. Close to shops, bars and restaurants, as well as being close to places further afield.

La casa es tan bonita como parece en las fotos, bien equipada de menaje de cocina y la zona, para los que no la conozcáis, es simplemente alucinante. La casa estaba limpia y además de bonita es confortable. Echamos en falta alguna cosa que no supone más de unos pocos euros como más papel wc, alguna pastilla más de lavavajillas, filtros de la cafetera y alguna cosa más por el estilo. Laura estuvo pendiente. Recomendable la casa y recomendable Pals y la Costa Brava.

The house is great, perfect for 6 people. We stayed at the beginning of April so the pool was ridiculously cold, but still very fun. It's very close to the coast (which has a great walking path) and to a lot of cute little towns to have lunch in. Barcelona is a little over 90 minutes away. The hosts were great, very responsive and even made us dinner reservations! Just a great experience.

Excelente ubicación con algunos fabulosos restaurantes en la puerta. La casa está fantásticamente equipada y no podríamos haber pedido más a nuestros anfitriones.

It is a nice and comfortable house with a well-equipped kitchen and showers at each bedroom. The swimming pool is big enough for pleasant cooling. The house is located in a fairly quiet street, yet within walking distance of the center of Pals, with numerous cozy restaurants and insufficiently insulated so there is no noise. We traveled by plane and the number of towels (2 pp) was little. Air conditioning is now available in all rooms, a big plus.

Fantastic house in a great location offering all comfort and practical aspects one can dream of. We have really enjoyed the house, the pool and the garden as well as Pals and its surroundings. The house is not only beautiful but also well maintained, extremely clean and well equipped. We strongly recommend it.

Excelente villa hermosa peculiar Pals

Esta villa en la primera llegada es un poco estrafalario, como ha sido excavado desde una cueva, pero el de 3 dormitorios, 3 cuarto de baño es excelente, con una buena zona en el frente con muebles de exterior y la piscina. La ubicación es genial y en Pals con aparcamiento en la calle seguro ofrece una buena base segura para ver otras zonas de la Costa Brava.

El registro fue bien, aunque llegamos a las 2 de la tarde como estaba previsto y no pude entrar al principio y la limpieza era todavía en el lugar durante 2 horas, lo que era un poco molesto. Otros lugares en los que hemos estado en Europa, incluyendo Praga, Barcelona y el sur de Francia ofrece algunos servicios - papel higiénico para su estancia, jabón, detergente de lavado, café, etc. y que fue decepcionante en su ausencia, pero la villa en sí fue bastante bien equipado y fácil de preparar comidas en casa si quería.

En general, esta villa fue bueno, pero un par de pequeños detalles lo hace excepcional.

Dear Guest, thanks so much for your feedback. We are actually pretty flexible in terms of check-in. Normal check-in is at 4pm, but if possible we let customers leave their luggage in earlier, even though we always advise the cleaning lady will be there finishing up the house.
As per the toilet paper and soap, we leave enough for the guest to replenish for their stay. Guests tend to be very happy and as you say, the amenities of the house are really good. We had been admiring this listing for 3 years, so it was with great excitement and high expectations that we finally arrived for our vacation. The house was everything we had hoped for and more! The home was spacious, beautiful, and in an idyllic location for exploring Catalonia or simply relaxing by the pool and sampling the local restaurants in Pals and nearby villages. The fantastic grocery store just a short mile away made it easy to prepare a first-rate meal for those times when we preferred to just stay at home and relax. Our party of 5 occupied all three bedrooms and each of us thought we had the best bedroom in the house, with frequent comments about how comfortable and restful we found the rooms. The regular communication from Enric and Gemma from the time of our booking through the end of our stay made for a very easy, hassle-free vacation. We very much look forward to our return one day.

The house was lovely, it had the character of an old rustic property but has been done up to a modern standard. It's great that there is an ensuite in each room, it was perfect for 3 couples. The only negative was that some of the basics you would expect in a holiday rental weren't provided such as extra toilet paper, garbage bags, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil etc and there was only one set of bath towels provided with no towels for the swimming pool, as we had travelled from overseas we didn't have space to bring towels in our luggage. These were just minor issues however, overall we had a fantastic weekend in beautiful Pals. Thank you!

We loved this house. The location is fantastic - just a couple minutes' walk from the medieval center of Pals, and a block away from bakeries, markets, and restaurants. We had a car, and it was an easy drive to Girona, the coast, and a short day trip to France. The house itself was lovely, clean, and spacious. We loved cooking in the kitchen and eating outside. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. All in all we had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay. The house exceeded expectations. It has been renovated in a very tasteful way and Enric and Gemma have a great eye for detail. The lighting through the house was particularly well considered. Great to have a bathroom for each bedroom. We would return and recommend to others.

A lovely house in a very nice location. We loved the restaurants around it where we could walk. Further more there is a bakery, a butcher and a very nice little shop just across the street.

The house was very clean and looks even better than the pictures :) We would book it again for sure.

Communication was very easy and uncomplicated.

Excellente maison qui correspond bien aux photos. Seuls 3 petits points négatifs à savoir : - c'est surprenant mais la piscine est tres fraîche même en plein août ... (22 degrés parfois 23) - en fait de part sa localisation elle est souvent à l'ombre... Après je n'en tient pas rigueur nous sommes un peu frileux :), mais il est vrai que cela nous a surpris. - a l'arrivée nous avons été accueillie par une dame très gentille parlant tres correctement le français (Laura) et pleine de bons conseils... Par contre les femmes de ménage sont restés jusqu'à 20h (alors que nous pensions 16H...). Là non plus pas de drame, mais j'avoue que ça surprend / agace un peu au début. - Le VRAI problème en revanche est qu'en fait la maison est une plutôt une énorme maison de village qui fut divisé en 2. Il faut donc comprendre que l'on est très proche des autres voisins/ locataires de la maison sœur. Du coup selon que vous tombiez sur un voisin calme ou bruyant ça peut être l'enfer ou le Paradis... Et en y restant 2 semaines nous avons eu les 2... La première semaine nous avions comme voisin une famille avec 3 enfants qui ne cessaient de hurler comme nous n'avions jamais vu ca... Impossible de faire dormir la petite... 1ère semaine complètement gâchée ... Impossible d'avoir un peu de tranquilité , nous avons réellement fuit la maison en permanence ! En revanche la deuxième semaine fut superbe et c'est pour cela que je met une bonne note. Je ne peut pas reprocher ces points aux propriétaires qui sont parfaitement à l'écoute et sérieux (toujours dispo par message etc...) Nous avons eu un problème de clim une nuit : je préviens la propriétaire - intervention + Reparation en moins de 12H ! La maison est très luxueuse , bien décorée , moderne - on s'y sent très bien. Elle est très bien située dans Pals et Pals est aussi parfaitement situé pour découvrir l'Emporda. Je conseille vivement donc cette location malgré les petits détails cités (considérons que nous avons été malchanceux sur les voisins...), et j'espère y retourner pour un prochain séjour :).

On vous remercie pour votre feedback Cyril. Il a été un vrai plaisir communiquer avec vous. On prend note pour nous assûrer que la maison est propre avant pour le futur et on verra ce qu'on peut faire pour améliorer les points sur la piscine...

En ce qui concerne les voisins, je suis désolée, c'est vrai que c'est difficilement controllable. En tout cas, merci de votre patience, et n'hésitez pas à parler aux voisins s'il y avait n'importe quel problème au futur.

Enric and Gemma are fantastic hosts. The house is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The only two comments - we were not be able to check in as indicated because the cleaning took longer because of previous guests.

Also, it would be have been better if there were more supplies which most houses have such as extra garbage bags etc.

Overall, the house was beautiful and the location was perfect. Thanks again.

Gorgeous villa, ideal location

My partner and I stayed in the villa for 11 nights and the villa was exactly as the photos show, beautiful. The decor was very tasteful, loved the exposed brickwork and the bathrooms are lovely. Beds, sofas etc were comfortable and the villa is very well equipped, there was even a Nespresso coffee machine!! The wifi worked very well too which was great. The pool was perfect for cooling down, while lazing about in the garden, a little chilly but very refreshing.

The villa is ideal for walking to the many lovely restaurants in the medieval part of Pals but there are also a few restaurants literally 2 minutes from the villa which were very nice. There is market on a Tues where you can get lovely fruit and veg and a lovely deli and baker too but you would need a car to get to the supermarket and the lovely beaches around the area.

Booking with Enric was very easy and he was very helpful in the run up to our holiday. If we visit Pals again we will come back to this villa!

La casa es preciosa, tiene todos los detalles necesarios para que la estancia sea muy confortable.

La maison est vraiment très agréable, et correspond tout à fait aux photos. Nous étions 2 couples avec 3 enfants et tout le monde a trouvé sa place et son intimité. Le village est très agréable et tous les commerces sont à proximité. La mer est à une dizaine de kilometres.

Très belles prestations. Nous n avons pas rencontré l'hôte mais une dame qui est arrivée ( avec un peu de retard...) lorsque nous étions déjà dans la maison.( les personnes faisant le ménage étaient présentes lorsque nous sommes arrivés).

Maravillosa estancia en villa Aurora, muy confortable , práctica y bella casa, muy bien restaurada y habilitada para disfrutar de unos días , a lo largo de todo el año. Molt bona experiència. La casa es correspon amb la descripció de l'anunci i és molt acollidora i esta equipada, especialment la cuina. A destacar el seu molt bon estat i el manteniment de jardí i piscina, aixi com la situació al centre de Pals.

Alquilamos la casa para pasar el fin de semana. Tres parejas y un bebé.

La casa es preciosa, está muy bien decorada. Es muy cómoda ya que tiene tres habitaciones dobles con baño en cada una de ellas. También nos proporcionaron una cuna que solicitamos en el momento de la reserva.

La cocina y el comedor están muy bien equipados, no falta detalle. Estuvimos en enero y pudimos disfrutar de la chimenea. La casa además dispone de un sistema de calefacción de suelo radiante muy confortable.

La casa se encuentra en una ubicación ideal, en un pueblo tranquilo como Pals, cerca de la playa (5km) y rodeada de preciosos parajes rurales para visitar.

A 15 min se encuentra la ciudad de Palafrugell donde hay un fantástico mercado de pescado, carne y verdura.

La propiedad Enric y María Rosa son muy amables y muy atentos.

Volveremos en verano para poder disfrutar de la piscina ;)

It's a very nice house in a very good location. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. All the rooms had an en-suite bathroom. The house was really well equipt with all the kitchen utensils that you may need. We loved the pool and te BBQ! And you can soak up the Rays till late evening by the pool!!! The only negative point about it was the fact that we had to wait half an hour for the lady to come and meet us to hand over the keys for the property even though we followed the instructions and informed them when we were 40 minutes away. We had a problem with the water of the swimming pool, as it was loosing water. Enric called the maintenance guy and it was sorted out within a couple of hours. All in all we loved the experience of staying there. Highly recommended!

Great location and great property! Pals is a unique historic village and is the perfect starting point to discover l'Empordanès. We picked Enric's house for a 3-day/2-night getaway just before Christmas and it proved a great choice - convenient and comfortable and Enric's staff was always available and responsive. We were just 3 people sharing, with a double bedroom each and individual bathrooms - so the house can easily accommodate 3 couples and up to 8 people I guess. It made for a nice stay in late December but it must be great in the Summer too - with some great beaches nearby and a private swimming pool on site.
